Since 1993, the primary focus of Jeff's work has been to train people to become teachers of the Feldenkrais Method®. Jeff studied directly with the founder of the work, Moshe Feldenkrais and graduated from his own professional training program in Amherst, Massachusetts in 1983. In the following 10 years he developed and refined his skills building and extensive private practice in Seattle. It was during this time in 1988 that he met his spiritual teacher, Ken Lloyd Russell (www.thewayofseeing.com). Ken’s teachings have had a major impact on Jeff’s life which is reflected in his teaching of the Feldenkrais Method. In addition he built a movement arts center where classes in Feldenkrais, Aikido, Yoga, Tai Chi, meditation were offered.

Jeff's background includes an MA in Intercultural Education from the University of the Americas in Puebla, Mexico (1974), a Ph.D. from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto, California (1988) and over 20 years of study in Aikido. He was a university level basketball player at Oregon State University (1972), and a high school teacher and coach.

As a Feldenkrais trainer, he has worked around the world, been the educational director of four graduating classes, is currently teaching two more groups and has plans to initiate several other training's in the future.

Jeff's personal life is spent with his wife and two children in Bend, Oregon. He likes to work in his yard, fly fish once in a great while, play golf, walk, and shoot a few hoops on his back yard sport court with the kids in his neighborhood.
