In my 20 years of practice as a Feldenkrais® teacher, I have never met a person who wasn't interested in improving the quality of their life. Everyone would like to think better, to sense and feel with more clarity, and move with greater efficacy and elegance. All people would like to have their thinking produce new and creative solutions to the obstacles and opportunities they face in daily life. They would like to be able to sense and feel with greater discrimination allowing them to refine their actions and improve their personal skills in relating to people and nature. Given the knowledge and opportunity all people would choose to move with greater ease, efficiency, elegance, and co-ordination. People would like to feel more comfortable with themselves. It is within our human nature to explore, develop and refine ourselves and our abilities. The Feldenkrais Method based on the work of Israeli scientist Moshe Feldenkrais, offers us a novel, unique and profound way to examine our habitual and often limiting ways of thinking, sensing, feeling and moving. Through developing a highly refined awareness of ourselves we discover how to improve all of the above mentioned aspects of our personal life. How nice it is to live a well developed internal life that is aesthetically pleasing and continually evolving.
